Sheet pan pork chops with almonds, apples and asparagus

I am a big fan of one pot meals like soups and stews. When I am not making a one pot meal, I like to make a sheet pan meal. You put everything on a pan, throw it in the oven and boom – dinner. This dish is a little light for  dinner, so you may want to have some bread on the side. Nevertheless, this dish is very tasty! Apples and pork go very well together and the almonds get perfectly toasty.

Sheet pan pork chops with almonds, apples and asparagus

Preptime: 15 minutes
Cook time: 30 minutes
Serves: 4

4 pork chops
Olive oil
1 tsp paprika
1 bunch asparagus
1 apple, cut into slices
2 handfuls almonds

Pre-heat the oven to 425 degrees.

Mix the paprika, salt and pepper together. Rub the pork chops with olive oil and coat with the paprika mix. Cut the woody part of the asparagus off. Coat the asparagus with olive oil, salt and pepper.

Place the pork chops, asparagus, apples and almonds onto a foil lined sheet pan. Bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes or until the asparagus is tender and the pork is at the correct temperature.
